I agree with almost everything ';Ben'; had to say, except the part about RWS Superpoint %26amp; Beeman Crow-Magnum not being accurate, they are very accurate pellets in the right rifle.





JSB Predators do have widely varied results(accuracy)





RWS Superdome, JSB Exacts, %26amp; Crosman Premiers are great pellets for the $$





Beeman pellets are among the very best.





';Generally'; speaking, domed pellets are the best for hunting purposes.





There is no way to give you a specific pellet that will work best the only thing you can do is try good quality pellets until you find the one your rifle prefers(accuracy)





What you can do is start in the right area, and that would be, that rifles in the power range are going to prefer pellets that weigh ';around'; 8.0gr.





Sample packs are a great way to go, but since you're looking specifically for a hunting pellet. Crosman Premier Domed Lights(7.9gr) %26amp; RWS Superdomes(8.3gr) would be a good place to start looking.

the ones that are the most accurate in the gun! accuracy is everything when it comes to airgun hunting! some pellets worth checking out are rws super domes, jsb exacts, beeman fts, and crossman premiers! straightshooters.com has pellet sampler packages for sale, so you can try out some different pellets and see which work best in your gun ! for close range, i like rws super h point and beeman crow magnums, but they lose accuracy beyond 15yrds! some people rave about the jsb predators, but i think the skirts bend to easy and lose accuracy because of it! hope this helps!
