Job hunting with a face piercing?

I really want my lower lip labret pierced. At the moment I'm not working and in a bit of a dilema - get it done, I've been out of work a while and could have been pierced and healed in that time.

But what if a job comes up. Have you ever attended an interview with a facial piercing in? I've heard of a friend of a friend who went to a job interview job with a few in.

I'm not at all corporate looking and want a career in a creative profession.Job hunting with a face piercing?
If you want a career in a creative profession, they often don't care what you look like.

But seeing as you have no job now, you'll probably need to find something to tide you over until a good job comes along. And its the crap jobs that often care more about appearance, theres no need to make it any harder for yourself, when there are plenty of people competeing for one job.

You could see about having it pierced with a quartz retainer. But that's still a problem with food and children.

I'd probably just wait until you got a good job, and get something less noticeable pierced in the meantime.Job hunting with a face piercing?
i have a few piercings to and do think its fair that they dont take people on cause of it, a guy i know had to shave his head (wouldn do that for any1).

anywayz just go for it, unless you wanna take them out, dont have to let them close up, could you not put them in when your not working?

good luck it will work out, x
i have gone to a job interview with facial piercings on and the people there looked at how well i was at the job and my social skills. they actually looked past my piercings and i was very surprised. it would depend on the type of job interview that your going to as well.
With the way the ecconomy is getting messed up these days - why make it any harder to get a job ? Wait until you have a job, then think about piercing.
the more facial piercing , the more chance you'll get the job if you apply as a piercer.
