Is the savage 111fcxp3 a good rifle for deer hunting?

i made the mistake of buying a rem 770 and i am now looking for a superior but relatively cheap firearm....Is the savage 111fcxp3 a good rifle for deer hunting?
For someone that hunts 2 weekends a year, the 770 is a perfectly good rifle.





That being said, the Savage is a better rifle. I have a pre-accutrigger model and am very satisfied. You'll also like the Weatherby/Howa and Mossberg rifles.Is the savage 111fcxp3 a good rifle for deer hunting?
