Hunt - yes. Carry a rifle - no. Use bow or muzzle-loader - probably.
Unless you can get you record expunged or get a pardon, you can't touch a cartridge firearm because you are an ex-felon. Check out the links.
This topic comes up regularly. Can a person who did time in arizona for a felony 22 years ago go hunting or carry a rifle?
OK, final answer: If you are a convicted felon who has NOT had his/her civil rights restored, then no, posession of a firearm is illegal. So, if you can now vote again, you should be OK. With this in mind, dont sue me, instead ask you local policeCan a person who did time in arizona for a felony 22 years ago go hunting or carry a rifle?
No. Because the felony is still on your record. You can challenge to have it expunged but that will require a court hearing. I don't really know the specifics. You can hunt but only with bows and muzzleloaders until your record is cleared.
No not unless you get it reversed or petition for your gun rights to be restored if it was a non-violent felony. Blackpowder should be ok but,you should ck. Their not deemed firearms by the ATF.
Only a black powder rifle, as they are not classified as firearms. A felon cannot carry a modern rifle. The number of years since the crime is irrelevant.
Not in the USA unless the felony was expunged from his record. Ask parks and wildlife about hunting with non-weapons like maybe muzzle loaders or bow-n-arrows.
H
Not unless they were pardoned or had their felony conviction(s) expunged.
It is best you try to get it cleared by a judge, then ask a police officer.
