House hunting in London advice?

Looking for a flat for 4 of us to rent... We really wanted this flat the other day, but they ended up giving it to someone else. Now we have a couple of leads for promising looking places in better locations.. but they don't come on the market for a few days. Now the guy says we can have the original one. It may not be the best... but flat hunting in London is a nightmarish cut throat business, would be nice to have it sorted.. dunno what to do.House hunting in London advice?
Go for the first flat; if you liked it then there's no reason not to go for it. You could carry on looking for months and months and I presume you have to be out of your existing property soon? Unless you can stall the first one until you have looked at the other properties; you're not bound to it until you have signed your agreement and given your deposit.House hunting in London advice?
