How does everyone feel about hunting?

No problem with hunting at all, wish I had some venison... now you've gone and made me hungry and my tummy is all grumbly! How does everyone feel about hunting?
Fire up the grill, I've got backstraps ready to go.How does everyone feel about hunting?
I feel I need more time off work to go.
I can't answer for everyone....but for me I love a good hunt.
I think its a good idea. Where I live, there's too many deer that run around and get in the roads, there's also coyote that attack the sheep, cattle and horses. I also think it sexy for a man to hunt.
Nothing like a spring gobbler strutin' toward your deeks!
I eat, therefor I hunt.
I love wild game. It's a healthier alternative to beef or pork, and actually has a chance at survival. I've got a lot of friends who hunt, but I don't feel I'm a good enough shot to go out and try.... yet. But, my father has been dealing with the nuisance alligators here in my area of Florida for about 16 years, and as far as that goes, I've always considered it a great experience. Not only are you pitting yourself against a (suprisingly) smart animal, but you have an instant positive impact on the community. The state doesn't send out a trapper unless the alligator is a threat to people, pets, or livestock. We haven't had to deal with any human fatalities (and of course we hope we never do have to.) but dogs..... lordy they take a lot of dogs.......
I feel that it helps the animals population be maintained (please don't ask how!), it helps me get active and healthy, and it helps me get some hot and spicy deer (venisin) sticks!
Love it.
I don't like it because I love animals. I do realize without hunting we would have an abundance of deer and other animals. I could never kill an animal as I just too compassionate and could not bear to see it suffer. My Uncle is an avid hunter and a safe and respectful one. He always eats what he hunts. He doesn't just do it for fun as some cruel hearted people do.
I'll put it this way, If I'm not working during hunting season, then I'm in the woods. And if I'm not answering questions on Yahoo, then I'm hunting.
Well, i have always hunted.

But then ive always lived in the country.

Lets face it,you cant go hunting in the city, so hunting is a country thing, some city folk are born with country hearts and wish to go to the country and do country things, good on them, but for the rest of us in the country, hunting is just a part of life the same as maybe bowling or rollerskating or something is for folks in the city.

Antis come along with misguided views, impressed upon them by others who know nothing about hunting and often who have no liking for the countryside, expecting it to be some kind of film-like park.

While many claim to hate hunting of such and such an animal, they would be afraid to touch it and hate it if it turned up in their back garden, or yard or such in the city.

Hunting is fine, and its bad to be wasteful but many do do it for 'sport', but to be fair, sport or otherwise, a clean kill is the hunters aim.

Better death by a bullet through the head for example, than a disease,no?

Just my 2c
Its good fun. Its nice to get outdoors and do something. and the winers that go, Oh, i dont want to see it suffer..waaa waaa waa. Huntingisnt about killing the animal. Its about calling it or wating and just relaxing and havin a good time. Its nice to shoot something, but its never necessary.
Never hunted. But I say Kill It And Grill It. Or, if it be a Democrat, just kill it. I wouldn't want to get food poisoning.
My husband hunts. My only problem is that he spends too much time and money on it. Otherwise it's a healthy hobby. He eats what he kills. I won't touch it.
