9 point buck 236lb belivable hunting story or fiction?

its fiction. i just went hunting for the first time and the second day i shot a 9 point buck 236 pounds with a 243rifle i was 12 im 13 now but know beilves me and i didnt make the records is because of the antlers?9 point buck 236lb belivable hunting story or fiction?
A Winchester 243 is a great sporting rifle for hunting. In some parts of the country they count only one side of the rack of horns, such as Colorado. A four point buck would actually be an 8 point buck in other parts of the country. A 9 point buck is common if both sides are counted. If it weighed 236 pound before it was dressed, it would be an average sized mule deer but a very large whitetail deer. But if it were dressed out (gutted) then it would be a very large mule deer, and barely believable but possible. That would be more the size of an elk.9 point buck 236lb belivable hunting story or fiction?
WAY TO GO!!! The records for deer are not for weight like fish or for how many points so much. It's for the size and shape of the antlers. Boone and Crockett for rifle, Pope and Young for archery. Mule deer are different obviously than whitetails but there are also blacktails and Coues deer, smaller sub species of the fore mentioned. There are 2 catagories: typical, which are symetrical and non typical which may have alot more points but usually not even, with ';kicker and cheater'; tines. I hunt mule deer and a buck with a 30'; wide rack and 4 points not counting eye guards on each side would be considered a true trophy. The largest I've shoot is a decent 26';.
Congrats You may hunt the rest of your life and never bag a better buck but you will always have a great story to tell around the campfire . I bet your Daddie was smiling. The Boone and Crockett record are based on antler size only unlike fishing records they do not take age of hunter or gender into account.
Good job and congratulations!!!!! Totally believable. It's jealous little wannabees that say ';nay';. F em. You should be very proud of yourself!!!
It's possible. We had a 200+ pound doe come out of a Southern Georgia swamp. She was huge. But without proof, it becomes a fishing tale.
